On the morning of August 21 (Wednesday), Ambassador Ham Sang-wook met with Slagjana Taseva, the newly appointed Dean of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), at the embassy. They exchanged views on enhancing anti-corruption cooperation between Korea and the IACA, as well as future development plans for the organization.
The IACA is an international institution supporting the effective implementation of global anti-corruption conventions, including the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC). It also conducts research, education, and training in the anti-corruption field. Dean Taseva assumed her position as the third dean of the IACA in July.
